Mychal’s Learning Place produces events throughout the year that fundraise to support the critical programs and services provided to youth and young adults with developmental disabilities. Special Events also create opportunities for the community to see just how capable, able, and talented all of our participants are and how much of an asset they are to the community. The Annual Luncheon & Auction is our longest standing fundraiser that includes an afternoon of celebration featuring silent & live auctions, student performances, awards, and so much more. Highlighting the spirit of Mychal’s Learning Place, the Annual Luncheon & Auction is the largest fundraiser of the year for the organization supporting more than half of annual fundraising totals.
This 22nd Annual event will feature a Student Spotlight presented to Dino, a long time participant at Mychal’s Learning Place and the newest social enterprise employee. We will also be honoring a wonderful supporter and philanthropist, Carol Troesh with this year’s Angel Award. And last but not least, the event would not be complete without a sneak preview of the latest musical performance, “Finding Nemo Jr.”
