Mychal’s Learning Place produces events throughout the year that fundraise to support the critical programs and services provided to youth and young adults with developmental disabilities. Special Events also create opportunities for the community to see just how capable, able, and talented all of our participants are and how much of an asset they are to the community. Join hundreds of Santas for a festive stroll along the Strand in support of individuals with developmental disabilities!
The 7th Annual Santa Stroll is a 5K fun run, walk, or casual stroll benefiting Mychal’s Learning Place. Proceeds directly support programs that help youth and young adults with developmental disabilities achieve greater independence and reach their goals.
A jolly sea of Santas will be marching from the Hermosa Beach Pier to Manhattan Beach and back! Every adult registration includes a Santa suit or a festive t-shirt*, while kids receive a t-shirt*—plus, the first 200 kids get a special surprise from Squishmallow. Four-legged friends are welcome too, with pups receiving a bandana* and the chance to shine in their own holiday costume contest.
